AI Adoption / AI for Leaders

Executive alignment on AI, with a 90-day move.

Delivered as Ascend, our structured session for CXOs and senior leaders. The room works through where AI is moving in your sector, what your named peers have already shipped, and which two or three moves your organisation should make first.

What an executive AI programme delivers
An executive AI programme is a facilitated working session that ends with a ranked set of AI priorities the leadership team has agreed to fund.

It is a decision-making session rather than a training course. The value is not the explanation of the technology, which most executives can now get anywhere. The value is peer benchmarking against named competitors, an honest read on where your organisation actually stands, and a leadership team that leaves holding the same list in the same order. Without that alignment, AI budget scatters across departmental pilots that never consolidate.

Who it is for

Who needs to be in the room.

The session works when the people who control budget and the people who own the affected functions are present together. Sending delegates defeats the purpose.

01

CXOs and C-suite

CEO, COO, CFO, CTO, and CIO. The people who decide what gets funded and what gets stopped.

02

Functional heads and VPs

Business unit leaders who will own the workflows any AI initiative actually touches.

03

Strategy and transformation leads

The people expected to carry the roadmap forward after the session ends.

04

CHROs and learning leaders

Accountable for the workforce capability side, which is where most AI plans quietly stall.

The curriculum

The four sections.

Sequential and cumulative. Each section feeds the next, and the priority map in section four is built from what the room surfaced in sections one to three.

01
Why AI now

AI as a structural shift in cost and capability rather than a tooling cycle. What has actually changed, what has been oversold, and what that means for your sector specifically.

60 min
02
What going AI means

The transformation framework. What changes in operating model, workforce, data posture, and governance when a company moves from AI experiments to AI as infrastructure.

75 min
03
Peer benchmarking

Named competitor analysis using public signals, with live demonstrations of what comparable organisations have shipped. This is the section that most often changes the room's mind.

04
Priority map and 90-day move

Collaborative prioritisation against impact and feasibility, ending in two or three moves with named owners and a 90-day horizon.

Formats

Three formats.

The full day is what we recommend when the leadership team has never worked through this together. The virtual format suits distributed boards.

Half day 3.5 hrs

Focused session

All four sections at pace, with a shorter benchmarking segment. Best when the team already shares a rough view.

Onsite, 8 to 25 people
Full day 6 to 7 hrs

Deep working session

Extended benchmarking and a longer prioritisation block, with time to work disagreements to a conclusion.

Onsite, 8 to 25 people
Virtual 3 hrs

Distributed format

Condensed across two sittings for boards and leadership teams spread across locations or time zones.

Virtual, up to 30 people

Outcomes

What the room leaves with.

01

Public-signal AI opportunity profile

An outside-in read of your organisation built from public sources, showing what the market can already infer about your AI position.

02

Peer benchmarking profiles

Named competitor analysis covering what they have shipped, where they are investing, and what is visible publicly.

03

AI priority map

Candidate initiatives plotted against business impact and delivery feasibility, agreed in the room.

04

90-day action brief

Two or three moves with named owners, success criteria, and a review date.

Delivery in India

Built for how Indian enterprises actually roll out AI.

Most of our work runs with banks, NBFCs, insurers, and manufacturers headquartered in India. The programme assumes Indian regulatory context, distributed field teams, and mixed levels of digital comfort across the workforce.

  • DPDP Act and sector regulation built into the curriculum

Sessions cover the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 alongside RBI, IRDAI, and SEBI expectations, so teams learn what they can put into a model before they start using one.

  • Delivered onsite across Indian metros and tier 2 cities

Facilitators travel to your offices, branches, and plants. Virtual cohorts run on IST with recordings for shift-based teams.

  • Designed for field and branch workforces

Content works for relationship managers, collections agents, and plant supervisors, without assuming a desk, a laptop, or prior AI exposure.

  • English plus regional language support

Facilitation runs in English and Hindi as standard. Additional regional languages are arranged for large field cohorts on request.

Questions

What teams ask before they start.

If your question is here in a form we have not covered, ask us directly and we will answer it plainly.

What is Ascend by Gyde?

Ascend is the name of our executive AI programme, delivered here as AI for Leaders. It is a structured session for CXOs and senior leaders that ends with a peer benchmarking pack, an AI priority map, and a 90-day action brief. The programme page at /ascend carries the same offer.

Who should attend AI for Leaders?

CXOs, C-suite members, functional heads, VPs, strategy and transformation leads, and CHROs. The session depends on having budget holders and workflow owners in the room at the same time, so sending delegates in place of decision makers substantially reduces what it produces.

How long is the session and what formats are available?

Three formats: half day at 3.5 hours, full day at 6 to 7 hours, and a 3 hour virtual version. We recommend the full day when the leadership team has never worked through AI priorities together, because the prioritisation block needs room for genuine disagreement.

What do we actually walk out with?

Four deliverables: a public-signal AI opportunity profile of your organisation, peer benchmarking profiles for named competitors, an AI priority map plotting initiatives against impact and feasibility, and a 90-day action brief with named owners.

How do you build the peer benchmarking?

From public signals: product launches, job postings, filings, patents, conference talks, and shipped features. We assemble profiles for competitors you name, then demonstrate live what those organisations have put in front of customers. Nothing relies on confidential or purchased data.

Is this a training course or a strategy session?

It is a decision-making session. Explanation of the technology takes up the first hour at most. The remaining time goes to benchmarking, prioritisation, and reaching an agreed shortlist, which is what separates it from an executive briefing.

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on format, location, and the number of competitor profiles in the benchmarking pack. Indian delivery is quoted in INR. Talk to us with your format preference and we will send a fixed quote.

What happens after the 90-day action brief?

Most organisations move directly into delivery on one of the prioritised moves. That typically means either an AI Enablement engagement to give teams governed access, or a build engagement through our full-stack AI consulting practice. The brief is written so either path can start immediately.
